washing of linen
1. In the process of washing linen, washing chemicals must be used correctly. Especially for hard areas, softener must be added during the main wash.
2. For bed sheets, quilt covers, pillowcases and other lightly soiled linens, when selecting bleaching agents in the washing process, bleaching powder should be selected instead of chlorine bleaching powder. Because chlorine bleaching powder is a strong oxidant, it will cause the chemical reaction of impurities in the water to produce several kinds of metal chlorine, which will remain in the linen fiber, and will turn the linen yellow by ironing or oxidation in the air by the dryer.
3. In the washing process, it is very important to pass. When the linen is washed, after the soil is washed off, a mixture of detergent and soil is formed in the solution. The mixture is also warm at this time. During the process, if it is directly cooled, it will cause the linen to shrink, and the dirt of the mixture will be firmly locked in the fibers. Over time, there will be dirt deposits on the linen.
4. When washing, you cannot master the washing procedure very well, and it is easy to turn yellow, gray and hard, so it is very important to strictly follow the standard washing procedure.
Note for washing linen:
⑴Softener must be added during the main wash;
⑵Use bleaching powder when bleaching;
⑶When it is outdated, try to exothermic and wash it;
⑷During post-processing, neutralizing acid powder must be added, and it will become hard if no neutralizing agent is added for a long time.
⑸Add an appropriate amount of softening powder, adding too much will cause yellowing;
⑹Not exactly grey. In order to wash the linen well, each washing procedure must be treated strictly, otherwise, as long as one link goes wrong, it will affect the overall washing effect. The increase of linen is done by bleaching agent, but bleaching agent must be used reasonably. Oxygen bleach can keep the fabric bright for a long time, but it is not easy to remove some plain stains. The advantage of using an oxygen bleach is that it prolongs its life and prevents premature greying of the fabric. Chlorine bleaching powder has certain damage to the fiber fastness of cotton products. Long-term use will make the fabric gray and dark, but it can completely remove the pigment dirt on the fabric.
